Hi! My name is Eugene Roberto, and I am 25 years old. I am a proud husband to a beautiful wife and a wonderful babygirl. I am currently in San Diego, where the Navy has taken me away from a big family and my home of the Island of Guam.
I am a great friend of Rikki Reyes, who has referred me to Team Hybrid. I've had the pleasure of hanging out with the Team and meeting a lot of you at SpoCom. In all honesty, I haven't heard of Team Hybrid until I came to the state, but I'm glad that I have now. I was really impressed with the teamwork and diversity that Hybrid posesses. I was glad to help out with set-up and tear-down of the display, and although I was the new face in the crowd, Hybrid welcomed me and everyone was friendly. It's good to see a team that also values its members, and not just its cars.
When i'm not working out at the gym, i'm working on my '06 Toyota Camry. I chose to build a car like this to be different--I wanted a car that will stand out and be noticed, not one that will blend into the scenery. Em was very helpful in giving me great advice on what to do with the car. Currently, I have it sitting on 20's that I hope to tuck once I get my airgbags (my next goal). As you can see by the pics, I do my own paint and bodywork, spraying the car Pearl White from it's stock dark grey. There was a lambo door conversion and windshield banner And although it's not my first time in the show circuit (after having showed the camry at other shows including HIN), it was great to be there with Hybrid and get up-to-date on the current trends. After re-doing the interior, my ultimate goal for this car is to enter the VIP class. I also wanted to thank everyone for giving me input, and making me feel welcome at SpoCom. Oh! one more thing thanks Em for the ticket! Greatly appreciated!
